What to know about .410 bore target ammo
The .410 is the smallest gauge used in organized clay sports. It's the hardest gauge to shoot well — the ½ oz payload (compared to 1⅛ oz in 12 gauge) leaves no margin for error. Winchester AA and Remington STS offer the most consistent patterns for competition. At $0.35—0.55/shell, it's more expensive per shell than 12 gauge target loads despite containing less shot.
