Retailer coverage is expanding — keep checking back as selection grows!

Ammo price alerts and back-in-stock alerts

Stop refreshing retailer pages. Tell IronScout the product or the price per round you want. IronScout checks prices at the retailers it tracks every day and notifies you when a listing meets your rule.

Three kinds of ammo alerts

Price-drop alert on a product

Save a product, then set a target price or choose any price drop. IronScout matches the same product across the retailers it tracks.

Back-in-stock alert on a product

Save a product that is out of stock and turn on its restock alert. You are notified when a tracked retailer lists it in stock again.

Saved-search alert for a caliber

Save a caliber, the price per round you will pay, and a minimum number of rounds. IronScout emails you when a tracked retailer lists a match.

What an alert says, and what it does not

  • It names the listing that met your rule.
  • A saved-search alert lists the matching listings in alphabetical order by retailer. It does not pick a winner.
  • It never contains a deal score, a verdict or a price prediction.
  • It reflects the last daily check, so it is not instant.

Before you set a price

Each caliber page shows its recorded price history, so you can see the range a caliber has sold for before you choose a number.

Frequently asked questions

How do ammo price alerts work?
There are two kinds. For a product, set a target price or choose to be notified on any price drop, or ask for a back-in-stock alert on an item that is unavailable. For a search, save a caliber with the price per round you state and a minimum number of rounds, and IronScout emails you when a listing meets it. Prices are checked daily. A free account is required.
Can I get an alert when ammo is back in stock?
Yes. Save a product that is unavailable and turn on its back-in-stock alert. IronScout checks availability at tracked retailers daily and notifies you when the product is listed in stock again.
How are alerts delivered?
Saved-search alerts are sent by email only. Alerts on a saved product arrive by email and can also arrive as a phone push notification if you opt in. On iPhone, add IronScout to your home screen first (iOS 16.4 or later), then allow notifications.
How often does IronScout check prices?
IronScout checks prices and availability at tracked retailers once a day, in nightly batches. An alert can arrive only after a check, so it is not instant.
Do price alerts cost anything?
No. Alerts are free, and there is no paid plan. Searching and comparing ammo prices needs no account. A free account is required to save alerts.
Does an alert tell me whether a price is a good deal?
No. You set the rule, and the alert reports the listing that meets it. IronScout never sends a deal score or a prediction. The decision to buy is yours.
